Local dignitaries, customers, suppliers and key contractors joined market leading, park home and luxury lodge manufacturer, Omar Group, today for the official opening of their new £1.1m, 43,806 sq. ft. factory extension in Brandon. The commissioning of the new finishing bays marks the start of an exciting new era for the company; the added factory capacity supports the on-going growth of the business, helping to address market demand for both its lodges and retirement park homes, it will also create over 80 new jobs in Brandon and help to fund local council services.

Omar is delighted to be returning to The Caravan Extravaganza (The Lawns), on the 3rd and 4th September at Cottingham near Hull. Five luxury lodge models will be on display including three stunning new models that will be unveiled for the very first time; the all-new 2016 Manhattan (single lodge), the 2016 Southwold (single lodge) and the 2016 Westfield luxury lodge.

As part of a long-term strategic plan, the new factory extension will not only support on-going growth and help to address demand, it will also create over 80 new jobs in the area and help to fund the future of local council services.

Omar is delighted to sponsor Lindholme Lakes Country Park for their Summer Angling Festival (25th to 29th July). As the one of the largest festivals of it’s kind to be held in the UK and with well know anglers competing such as Tommy Pickering and Nick Speed, it’s an event not to be missed!

A group of 16 Omar employees are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge this August to help raise funds for a fellow employees daughter, Maisy Hutley. Maisy has spinal muscular atrophy type 2 (SMA), a degenerative disease affecting the muscles; funds raised will go towards equipment that will allow Maisy to be more independent.
