LEE PEARCE – TECHNICAL MANAGER

Following four years of outstanding growth and expansion in a challenging market, I am very pleased to announce Omar has significantly improved its skill and knowledge base with the recruitment of Lee Pearce who joins the Omar team as Technical Manager reporting to John Hobday-Pepper, Technical Director as part of our Technical and Design team. 

Lee brings with him a wealth of technical expertise having held a senior management technical and design role at Homeseeker Park & Leisure Homes, where he joins us from. As a number of you may know prior to that he worked at Omar Group for 11 years.  Initially as a Draughtsman at Brentmere Leisure before moving to Brandon initially as CAD Studio Supervisor and then eventually becoming Design Manager.  Not only does Lee joined us with a sound understanding of Omar’s products and design systems he brings with him a significant knowledge of Homeseeker working practices and knowledge and also more recently that of Prestige Park & Leisure Homes. 

Whilst at Homeseeker Lee was technical liaison with Finnish Log Homes, a role he will also carry out at now at Omar as we have won the exclusive right to manufacture Finnish Log Homes’ chassis and skidded products.  Lee will also work as a member of the CAD team helping to cut through the large number of drawing requests we currently have in hand given the significant upturn we have seen in orders and customer enquiries.
