Anniversary and Colorado park homes attract constant flow of visitors

The Motorhome & Caravan Show proved to be a fantastic end to the show season for Omar who draw to the end of their 50^th Anniversary year. On display, and attracting a constant flow of visitors, the award winning Anniversary and long-standing Colorado park homes delighted show goers and introduced the idea of park home living to many.

As the UK’s biggest motorhome and caravanning event, the Motorhome & Caravan Show saw just under 100,000 visitors through the doors over the six days it was open and with so much to see and do, it comes as no surprise that the event is so popular.  Attracting old and young alike, visitors flocked to see and compare the latest models; get advice on all aspects of the industry from finance to security and research and book their 2016 holidays.  The show even managed a Guinness World Record title with the largest ever caravan made from LEGO® bricks unveiled!

Designed in celebration of Omar’s 50th Anniversary and voted by the public as winner of Park Home of the Year 2015; the Anniversary park home was exceptionally well received.

Peter Berwick, Omar’s Sales & Design Director commented: “The Anniversary brings with it a completely new concept in layout and interior design, providing lifestyle options and flexibility.  Folding doors give the option to open up the living space or to have separate rooms; there’s a light and bright sun-room that could act as a dining room; the master bedroom provides practical areas and the en-suite has a bath and a separate shower, providing even more choice.  These lifestyle options were embraced, and when talking to visitors, they all had their own individual views on how they would use the space.  We’re delighted that the Anniversary has yet again been so well received.”

Equally as popular with show-goers was the Colorado, Omar’s most long-standing signature home (the silhouette of which features in Omar’s distinctive logo).

Tom Conman, Area Sales Manager (north) for Omar commented: “The Colorado is a timeless classic and never ceases to impress.  Visitors loved the distinctive arched windows, practical layout and contemporary interior design. The soft colour scheme of oyster, mink, taupe and eggshell blues was also particularly popular with visitors commenting on what a relaxed ambience it created.”
